I highly doubt it. He was not very good with trades, and rumour that he was not well liked with other gm's in the league. Yes his drafting record was good but he has admitted that he leaves that pretty much up to scouting. So I ask what would he really bring to table? A team looking for GM would be better off getting great scouts and a GM that could make some trades.
Better question does somebody try and pouch Button from the flames?
