Losing boobs as a "sexual taboo" would be a bit of a drag. As a boobs guy, that's the best part of a girl getting naked. Turn that into a normal day thing and that won't be much fun. So from my personal selfish aspect I'm against this :P
Just to play a bit of devils advocate.... I wonder how women with less than attractive breasts will feel about this? There is a seriously large range of how boobs can look. I'm sure many of them find solace in the fact that every girl is forced to cover up. If this free the nip thing ever really really catches on (and we became even more liberal about breasts than people in Europe), wearing a top on the beach could eventually turn into the equivalent of wearing a shirt in the pool.
