Not as worried about this at even strength... on the power play, sure, shutting down the top unit is key. But at even strength, the issue for the Flames is more dealing with VAN's scoring depth - if the Sedins get matched against Hudler Gaudreau Monahan and they cancel each other out, Flames probably lose the ES scoring battle on depth.
The Canucks don't have a lot of elite scoring talent at evens, but they do have a lot of guys who can chip in here and there. Only two twenty goal guys, but something like 10-12 ten goal guys.
