Then again, could go along with your point. It's the way he plays. Go soft... but it bit him in the ass twice in Season 6. I'm suprised he's not more balls out this year.

I thought he took a much more active leadership role in Season 6... for several weeks he was the man. This time around he seems to be flying under the radar (playing soft), which I think is a perfect strategy for this game. Anything that deflects attention away from himself is a good thing, and I think he's doing it very well. He probably gets some of the least face time on tv out of all of them... which is good, means he's not in the thick of the issues.
