For all the Canucks hatred I harbour, I don't for the least find this amusing or professional. And people wonder why a lot of people distrust the police nowadays.
Sorry I'm not impressed. If a police officer is willing to profile or give preferential treatment to someone based on something as petty as their hockey fandom, what happens when they happen to be a colour or race you don't tend to prefer?
I certainly hope I don't get pulled over by you, you might not like the band playing on my radio, and judge my punishment accordingly.

I was waiting for some holier than thou poster to jump on this. You obviously missed the post later where I stated the Flames/Canucks thing was a coincidence, that the woman was doing 30 over the posted zone, and that I reduced her fine. Do cops let off people sometimes for silly reasons or because they know them? Of course they do. When you were selling cars did you give CPers a break on prices? A would bet a bunch you did. Love how you are trying to twist this into something major. I let the majority of people I catch doing 10-20 over off because a warning is just as effective as a fine usually, as long as they are polite and they recognize what they did. If you are going to argue with me or give me a hassle you are getting it. We call it an a-hole charge. As for race or colour I have no preference there and I find it pretty damn insulting that you would imply that. This isn't the States and I didn't shoot an unarmed black man so cut it out.
