Kessler 6-2 202 , Perry 6-3 210 and Getzlaff 6-4 211 accounted for 78 of the Ducks 236 goals. These are 3 power forwards who pretty well make life miserable for the the goalies.

The Jets team seems to have been built to stand up to this kind of offence.

They have 8 defenseman who have played major minutes in the second half of the season... Byfuglien, Myers, Chairot, Pardy and Harrison all have a significant size advantage on the Ducks group of power forwards. Stuart 6-2 213 and Trouba 6-2 196 are their "small" d-men and then they have Enstrom who it appears is their only small d-man in their whole organization.

Their #9 d-man is Ellerby 6-5 220 who finally got in the lineup against the Flames in the last game of the year.

On the flip side the Ducks have a rather non-physical group of D-men who have Beauchemin at 6-1 207 who is their only physical d-man and Stoner 6-4 213 as their biggest guy. The Jets with Ladd, Wheeler, Frolick, Stafford, Lowry and Schieffle would have the physical advantage in driving the net. Lindholm and Vatanen and Fowler (all over 20 minutes a game) are going to take a pounding.

In the Playoff physical domination and dirty goals count for a lot more than they do in the regular season

I think that everyone would have picked the Kings to Handle the Ducks. The Jets and the Blues are the closest teams to the LA SC teams.
