B&H is a great place to buy from and they're great for shipping to Canada. You'll have to buy a lens but you could take a look at B&H's site for some inexpensive used lenses.

While I don't have any personal experience with Adorama, they're a well respected online retailer.

You could also look around keh.com for some inexpensive used DSLR's.
