Both are close in price, and I know you can run Win XP on Macs now too - so I'm just curious to see what the posters here have to say that may sway me to one or the other.
I'm going to be doing some photo-editing, internet browsing, work, email, etc... no games, that's what my desktop is for... so, which would you go with, and why?

Dell:

Also, is it worth buying the 3 year Mac Warranty? It's $300 compared to Dell which includes 3 years in the price already.

this is what macs are made for. Get the Mac you don't have to worry about trojans/viruses/spyware and you don't have to deal with the hellhole that is known as dell support. Also get the applecare plan. It is worth every penny you spend on it. They will pretty much replace anything that goes wrong in it.
