I played one semi-professional soccer game for Calgary United a few years back...yay? I assume most haven't heard of them, as we were actually an indoor professional team. My one game played was in tropical Saskatoon.
Enough about me though...
NSFW for size. This is my great Uncle Leigh Miller. February 9th, 1928, he set the world record in the 100
yard dash, at 10.6 seconds to become the fastest man in the world. He actually tied someone in the same race (not shown in picture). Obviously much harder to prove who was ahead at the line in those days. They didn't have starting blocks back then, but it's amazing how far sprinters have come since then!
There's a picture (not the one below) of him holding me when I was a baby, but he passed away shortly after.
