Since the 8 game losing streak, the Flames are on a 106 point pace in the 45 games. More impressively to me is they are on a 108 point pace in the 19 games since they lost Mark Giordano.
If Calgary wins tomorrow night at home against Los Angeles, they clinch a playoff berth, and it will ring true that nobody has missed the playoffs if they accumulate 96 points. With Boston and Ottawa both at 95 points, it looks like one of those teams will get at least 96 points and not make it in the east.
