Reported trade for Tejada: Aybar, Kotchman, Santana. Baltimore turned it down.
I can't believe it, that is an amazing return with Kotchman still having star potential. Santana with good stuff, who is currently a #3/4 guy with #2 potential. Aybar, one of the best fielders in the minor leagues at shortstop, who has put up very good numbers offensively as well.
Angels were reportedly interested in Wells too - earlier in the season. If the package was a little better (Sub Wood for Aybar), I'd do it. Oh, and it would plug massive holes cheaply for next season and still give you a decent shot this year.
