Depends on where you take him. If you take him in the 10 to 15 range it is probably a little risky based on the rankings now.
Is he still going to be a NHL defencmen, probably. The likelihood that he will be an elite or even a top pairing defenceman has probably diminished greatly in a lot of people's eyes. A more likely projection is 2nd pairing d-man (again depending on who you ask).

He has been playing against men since last season, a big reason he was hyped a lot for this draft. A 16 year old who broke into a men's league lead a lot of people thinking he had elite potential.
While he hasn't played bad in the men's league, he hasn't played great either seemingly plateaued.
What is really hurting his draft stock is that he has looked bad in international tournaments against others in his age group.
