There was a question about the third period comebacks and the team's overall conditioning.
Treliving talked about the intensity of Hartley's practices. When Schlemko first arrived, he said he'd be ready to go after the morning skate. Treliving warned him that he's never taken a Bob Hartley morning skate. He said you could have lit a fire off the top of Schlemko's head as he came off the ice, his face was so red.
Burke said he keeps telling the guys that he hates to see the third period comebacks. Being happy about them is like bragging about how much hard work you put in shovelling dirt into a hole that you never should have dug in the first place.
They'll all be much happier if they don't have to have so many third period comebacks in the future.
