I'm turning 42 next week and I have been having trouble sleeping the night without having to go pee, it started out as just once a night and now it seems like every other night is twice. Im a shift worker so any disturbance can ruin my whole sleep pattern and it's killing me. I can rule out diabetes as I have recently been tested. After a little research I'm thinking it might be an enlarged prostate. I have booked a Dr's appointment for next week but I would like to hear from anyone whose gone thru the treatment before, as the side effects of Alpha Blockers makes me a little nervous (enlarged breasts, unable to achieve an erection, increased chance of prostate cancer and so on). I would like to have some first hand information before I go thru my options with my Dr.
