Also how does a playoff race not matter? Are you suggesting this team should not be concerned about whether they make it, only concerned about ensuring Bennett is given what he has apparently "earned".

You called him up so play him. He is an obvious upgrade over a lot of guys, He has earned his chance and he needs to get a couple of games in so hes ready for the playoffs. When the team made the choice to bring him up instead of send him to Addy they as much told him that he will be playing..
Unless you think that he isn't an upgrade... do you?
