This may just be my own (extremely) limited knowledge of goaltending, but I would have diagnosed this differently. To me, Ramo is the one more commonly out of position and swimming around the crease. He looks to be very aggressive with big lateral moves, making him more likely to make one of those unbelievable saves like the one in the Ranger game at MSG.
Hiller looks to be quieter with his movement, but obviously prone to the softie goal that has everyone scratching their heads.
For what its worth, I like the call to start Ramo. I was at the Dallas game and while he had a great third period, Hiller didn't instill much confidence through the first 40.
