At the start of the season it was basically:
Yankees-190 million
Florida- 14 million
But that has a lot to do with the ownership choosing to go that low for the Marlins. The next lowest team would have been the Devil Rays at 35 million, another crappy owner that likes to have a low payroll rather than competitve team.
The real low teams seem to be between 40-45 million. So I would say that is the lowest of teams that don't choose to go way less than they need to.
