I've been following this for a while as the school I work at competes against the International School of Jakarta in athletics and other disciplines. It's a ridiculous farce and the Canadian government has been abysmal throughout. What makes you say that the Canadian government has been abysmal throughout? I'm not sure what they could have done before an actual verdict was delivered. Anyway, here is what a CTV article said in August...
