I think Hartley was quoted as saying Sam would have made the team out of training camp. That was with a bad wing. I highly doubt he'd play in Adirondack next year anyways so bring him here now and set him loose on the Oilers. His relentlessness and drive could be infectious on the team regardless of how much he plays.
