Blaster, I don't think it is as funny as you seem to think it is. There is so much parity this year, an argument could be made for 20 players right now.
Personally, I thought for a while Byfuglien should be considered, but now, I actually think it should be Devan Dubnyk. If you are going on what player has been the most valuable to their team, it is almost impossible to argue against Dubnyk, as he rescued Minnesota's season, and pretty much single handedly willed them into a playoff spot.
The Hart will probably go to a predictable choice, but an argument could be made for a ton of players this year, normally never given consideration. And Hudler has been the glue on that line, and by all reports, has been an absolute stellar mentor, and has kept Gaudreau and Monahan accountable all year.
Unlikely, but it's not as far fetched as it sounds. Hudler is exactly what these young guys need.
