I get the logic, I just don't think that statement is all encompassing. There are special talents, and I think Bennett is one of them.
One would have to think Treliving has seen the drop off in scoring after our top line and this seems like an excellent way to bolster offense. Even if it's for a couple games against the softest teams in the league. As I said above, in all honesty if he were to go to the AHL his first game might be against a team superior to the Edmonton Oilers.
