Well personally, I don't think scoring needs to be increased. I think that the drop in production of top-tier players is due to an adjustment of how the game is played and how every player is expected to play rather than less scoring. I think scoring is more spread out amongst the team as coaches attempt to roll four lines vs stack top groups.
Teams aren't going to let a Brett Hull type cherry pick around the blueline anymore, because you can't win that way anymore.
Also I want the loser point gone so bad it's not even funny. I don't mind keeping the SO, but there should never be points for losing. Sorry, not sorry.
