You're right, Southern states are just too vicious for a coloured person, that parent should have known better! "Those people" that are born and brought up down there know their place and have great street smarts for things like gangs and drugs and shootouts. A good Canadian black man should have known not to be irresponsible and bring his kids down there. And taking someone with an addition down there? Well clearly he was just asking to get into a murderous situation, being black and all. He should have known those ex-slavery states are no place for a coloured person.

Actually the kids father, who is coloured, objected to them going as he knew full well it is not safe for a person of colour, he has said he tried to warn them as to how dangerous it could be.
I'm not sure what it is your objecting to, the idea the southern U.S. is unsafe for African Americans or people of colour is hardly news.
Are you suggesting it was a good idea to take these kids down there?
