The only reason it makes sense to bring him up to the Flames is depth. I think he has more meaningful time in the AHL plus it's better for his development.

I'm surprised the NHL vote is as high as it is, when most people still know/understand/argue that we are still so early in the rebuild. You guys still want us to stock up on assets sometimes at the expense of losing our veterans, but want to catapult a rookie with no regular season experience into the playoffs?

Weird position in my opinion. Course, I haven't checked to see if the pro NHL crowd have many of the same guys as the 'sell everything you can for assets' crowd. With numbers this high though, I assume there is significant overlap.
