At the very least no death penalty.
But mandatory life without parole seems to be the norm.
He might be offered a plea deal. there's a horrible story of a kid in a similar situation, he was offered a 38 month sentence, but his uncle told him to fight it in court and when he was found guilty the judge had a choice of death or life without parole and took the lesser of two evils.
I would expect that there might be some pressure to reach a deal because of who his mother is.
