Quite surprised at some of the disrespect for Ovechkin in this thread. You may not like him, or think he deserves the Hart, but if you don't think he is one of the best players in the game (right now, today), I don't think you know much about hockey.

I can see Price beating him out for the Hart, but couldn't imagine another player being even close to a contender. Nash was in the conversation, but has cooled off, and Tavares' Islanders are looking shaky.
