I like Noah, I think he'll be good. I do agree with Nik that the show probably won't carry the same weight with a foreigner as the host. Despite Oliver's success he a) Has been in the NA spotlight far longer, and b) has an HBO weekly show in which he focuses a lot on international stories.
The main audience will remain for sure, but I don't think he'll pull in as many new viewers or get the media's attention the way Stewart has.
I'm surprised they didn't go with Jones or a Bee/Jones combo. I would think they offered something to one or both of them first, or they're probably pretty irate about being leapfrogged by a guy who's had short segments on the show only a few times.
(I also realize they are foreigners too, from Canada, but they don't have accents and are white, so most American's wouldn't know).
