I don't think people actually know what a bridge contract is. It is a contract that still allows a team to sign the player once the contract ends while the player is still a RFA. In order for Bouma to sign a bridge contract it would have to be a 1 year contract. A two year contract would not be a bridge contract. I would sign him for 10.4 over 4 years myself or else a 1 year contract for 2.1, but definitely not a 2 year deal, that would be the worst term possible.
