I found here in Lethbridge at least, that the service I got from Best Buy was as good as Futureshop. I even had a case where a Best Buy employee explained to me that he doesn't work on commission, and just wants to help me.
Maybe I look like a sketchy shoplifter.
Another time at Best Buy, my buddy and I went in for some special sale, and we asked an employee what was on sale (things weren't clearly marked), and instead of brushing us off, he went and printed out a list of EVERYTHING that was on sale. I felt bad for the trees.
But like others, I prefer to be left alone when I shop. Most of the time I just like to wander around and look at things, and if I am going to buy something, I'm typically much better versed in the product than
most employees.; there are a couple of gooders in the computer and TV sections here.
