I would argue that the injury to Gio is starting to show in the minutes played by our top 3 dmen and the mistakes they are making. That and out offence has dried up at the wrong time of the season.
We have a solid base of players and prospects going forward. It gives the fans great hope for the future and many years to come.
Regardless of weather we make the playoffs or not this season has been a huge success. We have seen growth in our players and a work ethic that makes us the envy of many teams in the league.
We have great character on this team and that's a foundation you want to build a team on. The players have had to deal with injuries and a media that had us fighting for McDavid. We proved the critics wrong and made believers of not just our fans but of others around the league.
