I don't care what the hype is for prospects, I wouldn't trade Monahan for any center in this league (or the world for that matter) not named Crosby at this point.
You don't trade a 20 year old 30 goal scoring, defensively solid center with a great attitude, that has unreal chemistry with two wingers which together form one of the best lines in the NHL who is also on an entry level contract. You just don't.
For every Crosby there's a Daigle.
