Okay, it was another wild OOT. I am just catching my breath and refilling my oxygen cannisters. In the east, the Rangers are the 1st team to clinch a playoff spot with their 5-1 spanking over the Senators. The Rangers take over 1st place in the conference and the league from the Habs. The Habs lost 5-2 to the Jets as Pavelec was a stud in goal for the Jets facing 41 shots. The Bruins lose in OT and move into a tie with the Senators for the last playoff spot. The Capitals win 3-2 in OT over the Devils and that puts the Caps just a point behind the Penguins for 3rd place in the Met division. The Penguins were awful losing to the Hurricanes 5-2. Carolina was down 1-0 and went on to score 5 straight goals. The Panthers are making things interesting as they beat the Leafs 4-1. The Sharkies got out of their slump and beat the Red Wings 6-4. The Predators have fixed things as they won their 3rd straight beating Tampa 3-2 in reg time. The Kings are showing they are clutch on this road trip beating the Islanders 3-2 in reg time. LOL to the Canucks as they lose 4-1 to the Avs. I hope this is the start of a losing streak to the end of the season for Vancouver.
