I'm pretty sure he never flat out said he's not very good or talented. I think that may be revisionist, but I could be mistaken.
EDIT: And even if he did, it would have to be taken within the context of those first few games...of which, honestly, Gaudreau wasn't as impressive as he's been since the night he spent in the pressbox.

Even about a week later when Gaudreau was starting to find his groove, Healy referred to him as Johnny Jockey. Healy stinks.
