Only one team of five will miss the postseason. Hoping for it to be the Canucks seems pretty pie in the sky. They have 90 points. The last two games they play are against the Coyotes and Oilers - teams that are better off if they lose. They also have 7 more games before those two. Even if they
lose 7 straight games they still have a pretty good chance of making it so long as a couple of those losses come in OT.
Pinning your playoff hopes on a team losing somewhere around 7 games in a row in regulation seems... well, optimistic would be one word I guess.
