It was not a perfect premiere by any means, but Corden's off to a great start imo. Certainly he seems much more comfortable with the format than Seth did when he started.

He has big boots to fill but the youtube vids they've posted were all really good IMO. The Filmography of Tom Hanks bit was awesome. I will say it 's going to take some time to get used to the seating format for interviews. It's set up similarly to the Graham Norton show.
Corden should do well with the Late Late Show but it's going to take some time for folks to get over losing Ferguson.
