The team's points percentage without Byron over the last 14 games is .571 vs. .588 with him, but the team's overall record of 83 points is exactly where we'd be at .588 over 71 games. Overall goal differential is virtually unchanged (0.31 with vs. 0.36 without). PK% has actually improved in the 14 games (83.3%) when compared to the prior games this season (79.7%).
The team hasn't missed a beat without Byron. And the loss of Giordano long term would be felt much sooner than the loss of Byron long term. I don't think these are controversial statements.
