Those things just looked like flimsy knives implanted into her finger nails... couldn't they have just cut off the sharp parts instead of putting her hands in giant metal gauntlets?

We also continued the storyline of hunter's disappearance and Mack taking him to meet the "Real" Shield. So clearly there's a bit of a civil war coming.

So cut off on head two more takes it's place... Hail Shieldra? I'm on the fence on where this will go... maybe Nick is leading in the shadows still? Secrets within secrets type of deal. We know Fury is back in the next avengers movie so the Shield dynamic has to tie in somehow
