If this was someone other than Clarkson, it's one thing, but it's a guy who's been previously reprimanded, and probably more so unofficially.

I get that, and I understand, I just see it from the perspective that he lost his cool and flipped. He knows that, the producer knows that, we all know that. Hes apologized for that and okay, he split the guy's lip, he probably owes the producer more than an apology.
But is it worth firing him over? Will that make the producer happier? Especially if the show hes working on ends because of it? Will it make the BBC happier? Is it worth the millions of pounds?
Is Clarkson more trouble than hes worth? Thats a tough question because apparently hes worth quite a bit.
