Feaster made his fair share of mistakes, but he deserves a ton of credit. The biggest of which is hiring Hartley. Or did the scouts do that too?

What is so great about Feasters draft record anyway? Gaudreau? Well we already know that was entirely thanks to Button. Sutter also landed a steal in the 4th round in Brodie. Seems like they are pretty equal. We may have landed Monahan under Feaster but that's because we had a 6th overall pick. Something Sutter never had the luxury of. Don't see Feaster deserving credit for an obvious pick anyways. I'd give far more credit to picks like Bouma in the 3rd round or picking up Gio. Backlund is looking like a very nice late first as well. Feaster did some wrong and did some right but his drafting is by far the most over-rated aspect of his tenure.
