Above is a link to an article by Ted Byfield. I post it because the fact that there is a strong minority christian presence in Lebanon was brought up. According to Byfield these Christian Lebanese are in favour of Israel's conduct.

Apparently these Lebanese don't want to see Hezbolah maintain control of the region. Perhaps they see a short war and great hardship as faviourable to continual persecution and slow death.
