People in Vancouvrr can easily make a 4pm Saturday start and then still have all of Saturday evening to do whatever. I wish the Calgary game was on so I wouldn't have to wait until 7pm to watch it.

It makes sense because Montreal and Ottawa play at 2200h, 10:00 PM eastern when they are in Vancouver. There are plenty of people who work on Saturdays in Vancouver. It is nice to have split telecasts involving another canadian team when the Flames game is on.
