The Bruins have signed Frank Vatrano, who scored 28 points in 36 games this season for UMass. It was his second college season, but he had only played 1 game last season.
Vatrano attended the Flames' prospects camp in 2012.
He'll turn 21 next week and is a Boston-area product.
