I think the dilemna with Alexandria is control. This Lady is trying to build a society and assign everyone roles, eventually that will lead to rebellion. you can't take hardened people out of the wilderness and expect them to follow your rules.

I got a few volumes of the comics for Christmas and couldn't put them down. Just finished the latest volume on the weekend. Highly recommend them.
I've enjoyed the show for a while but the comics are on a whole other level. Even though I like the comics better, I think they've actually increased my enjoyment of the show by being able to compare the decisions the show's writers and producers have made with respect to what source material to keep and what to change. Can't say I agree with all of their decisions, but I really do look forward to seeing what directions they take these characters and how they deal with some of the upcoming major plot points from the comics.
