Whether it's because of organizational bias or Sven himself, Sven is not playing in the NHL right now because he was beat out by the likes of Josh Jooris for a spot on this team. Debate away if you think Jooris, Gaudreau, Colborne actually outplayed Sven, but don' pretend he slam dunk anything.

The Flames have enough depth ahead of him to push him out of current/near future NHL spots. This is great for the Flames.
However that doesn't make him a spoiled brat or whiner either. Just a kid who wants to play in the NHL and is hoping there's a way for him to get there.
Him understanding that some other teams out there with less young depth may give him that shot, is completely understandable.
God forbid he chases his dream of being in the NHL!!
