Just doing a quick look at hockeyanalysis, Horvat has an 18% shooting percentage. The kid has a good shot, but it's not "Stamkos" good. That'll almost certainly come down and fewer pucks will go in unless he ups his shot rate a bunch.
But the more important thing is, and this is obviously only 10 games or so of data, but Horvat's CF% with Ronalds Kenins is an excellent 53%. His CF% without Ronalds Kenins is a hilariously bad 41.5%. If Canucks fans want to get on a bandwagon for any of their new players, I think they might be backing the wrong horse here... found this as well.

I get some 24 year old Latvian dude isn't as shiny as a former 9th overall pick, but it looks like Horvat isn't the one driving his recent bus of success.
