Ya, I think there is a good chance he stays in NE, but I think most sources are saying it is between NE and the Jets. Jets are going to offer just as much as anyone else- 60 mil over 4, half guaranteed sort of thing. Pats will no doubt offer less per year, but possibly the same guaranteed money.
Edit- The Pats are allowing Browner to talk to other teams and gauge the interest on him. The other option is they want to restructure his contract. This is a good sign they have something in principle ready with Revis, since there is no way they would lose Browner and Revis. My guess is they will sign Revis and have no choice but to release Browner if he doesn't restructure.
Wouldn't be surprised if it is Revis-Butler next year for the Pats.
Although being a perennial winner goes a long way to helping teams during FA, it can't be a good thing to be the team that always wants to restructure contracts.
