It's like they got a new writer during the hiatus who loooooves flashbacks. Two episodes since the return that flipped back and forth in time. Not a huge fan. When done right, it's okay, but it shouldn't become a narrative crutch.

And again, it feels like they are retconning stuff like Donna talking about herself in the third or whatever person. Seems weird she would do that in the flashback when she first met Harvey, forget all about it in seasons 1-3, and then start doing it again suddenly in season 4.

And as far as whether the show continues beyond season 5... I would be fine if it ended. It's turning into a soap opera. The early episodes were great because Mike was a super whizkid pseudo-lawyer using his powers to solve problems. And there was the tension of trying to keep his secret. Now, it's like Mike lost his super powers and everyone who matters knows he's not a lawyer.

Maybe they could get some more mileage out of this premise if Mike's secret is exposed and those that know about it are dragged down with him? Eric Roberts blabs about what Louis did. Louis crumbles and accidentally reveals just enough for the authorities to piece together Mike's secret. Harvey scrambles to clean up. Everyone who knows the secret is implicated. Mike could cut a deal for leniency and keep his fiancee out of jail by turning on Harvey (since everyone wants to nail Harvey anyway).
