Well, reading Burke's comments again that is exactly what's wrong with Sven. It was true before he said and it is still true now. Sven's compete level is very low and it does even lower once he is outside the offensive zone.
You work hard and compete all over the ice you get rewarded. Float around and rely on talent to make one or two plays a game you see the bench. Pretty straight forward. I actually thought Sven was starting to turn the corner but he still wasn't ready, another year to figure it out would have helped.
An undrafted rookie had a major impact on last night's game simple because he worked hard and gained the trust and confidence of his coaches. He made them look up and pay attention to him.
