The only trade off to Japan having lots of healthy old people is the fact they are growing in great number. Not enough babies born recently (despite my valiant efforts

and Japan is not an immigration country so there will be a large portion of the population needing support from the government/not contributing in taxation on income.
Oh well, life goes on...

I would rather support now and eventually be a part of an aging healthy population rather than be on the other side of the spectrum.
