I wish netflix would change their binge model. Maybe do 3 episodes a week and release it over a month. I like being able to discuss a show while it occurs instead of not being able to talk to anyone because we are all at different points. If they released 3 episodes every Friday it would be reasonably safe to discuss spoilers on Monday from the previous episodes.
The Amworks as policy is pretty interesting and I remember a republican on the daily show talking about it as an alternative to raising minimum wage and medicare benefits. You subsidize a business to create a job and provide health care benefits so the government is only on the hook for part of the expense instead of the whole thing. So in theory it creates more jobs instead of a minimum wage increase which in theory reduces jobs or raises prices.
Of course it also discourages innovation and efficiency as the government is paying some of the costs so automating a process costs more.
Its an interesting policy though.
